Display menu

Display Menu

Do you miss the handy Displays icon that was on the menu bar of your old computer, allowing you to change resolutions, turn on mirroring, and detect displays?

If you would like to have those settings easily available all the time:
  1. Click on the Apple menu in the upper left corner of screen and choose App Store
  2. Enter "Display Menu" in the search box in the upper righthand corner of the window. Display Menu is a free app, and you can download it by clicking on “free”, then “install app.” You will be asked for your Apple D (same username and password you would use to purchase something from the iTunes store.
  3. After the app downloads, open it by going to your Applications folder and double-clicking on it. This icon will appear in your menu bar:

  4. Click on the icon to access settings. Make sure that you click the arrow at the bottom of the menu to access the “Start on Log-in” option, which ensures that Display Menu is always accessible.
